Asciano places Botany AutoStrad order
Parent company of the stevedores Patrick, Asciano, has signed an official order for 44 automatic straddle carriers destined for operations in Port Botany by mid-2014.

A spokesperson for the Australian logistics company said the order was officially lodged yesterday.
Each of the 44 straddle carriers cost Asciano around Euro$1 million, according to director of Patrick Terminals & Logistics, Alistair Field.
