Aluminium exports to weaken
Restrictions on production at a number of Australian smelters will likely see aluminium exports weaken in 2012-13.

Australia’s aluminium exports are forecast to fall by 9% to 1.6m tonnes in 2012-13 compared with the 1.7mt in the previous corresponding year, which climbed 2% from 2011-12, the Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics’ latest forecasts show.
