Fixtures on container charters weaken

Container charters saw a quiet week on the markets, with a comparatively small number of fixtures, according to brokers.
The 1,600 teu and 1,700 teu segments saw a considerable amount of activity, as well as the 1,100 teu segment and some deals were also struck in the 2,500 teu bracket.
