Sanctions spell the end of Irano Hind

Irano Hind Shipping, the 37-year-old venture between India and Iran, is being shelved by the two countries.

US and European Union sanctions have made trading for the company nearly impossible.

“As a result of the sanctions, the company was struggling.

"It was decided by the promoters that assets could be split,” said Shipping Corp of India (SCI) chief executive...
