FWA dismisses Offshore worker’s compensation claim

Fair Work Australia Deputy President Peter Sams has supported the actions of Offshore Marine Services (OMS) in relation to the compensation of an employee who was injured in January.

In deciding against the applicant, Mohammed Rahman, Deputy President Sams added that Mr Rahman had “regrettably” used his appearance in front of the tribunal “to make wild, unsubstantiated – even criminal – allegations against unnamed persons.”
