Australia and China have strengthened measures against the cross-border movement of illegal goods between the two countries by establishing a new strategic partnership.

What is described as the most comprehensive and ambitious agreement yet signed was inked late last week by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and China Customs, during a ceremony that also marked 40 years of bilateral cooperation.
