Gippsland Ports in Victoria is to score an extra $7.15m from the state government for maintenance and port dredging.

Ports minister Denis Napthine said that as well as supporting Gippsland Ports, the $7.15m package included a $1m boost compared with the previous budget, allowing the committee of management to undertake asset maintenance and upgrade infrastructure.
