NOTICE TO THE TRADE – RATE RESTORATION

FOR EXPORT SHIPMENTS FROM KOREA TO AUSTRALIA

ASIA AUSTRALIA DISCUSSION AGREEMENT

In order to maintain a high standard of service to their customers, the member lines of AADA will be implementing a rate restoration of US$350/teu to all shipments from Korea to Australia effective from 1 st January, 2007. The rate restoration will apply in full on top of the existing market rates and will be subject to accessorial surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.

In addition, for early information to customers member lines wish to advise the trade that they have a plan to implement, on voluntary and non-binding basis, the following rate enhancement program in 2008: -

* Rate restoration of US$350/teu effective from 1 st July 2008

* Rate restoration of US$350/teu effective from 15 th September

2008

* Peak season surcharge of US$250/teu with effective date to be

announced later when vessels of member lines are expected to be

full
